Voluntary Public Access Opportunities

Since 2014, through a USDA grant, the DNR Wildlife Resources Division (WRD) has been able to enhance its public land hunting program through temporary agreements with private landowners to provide public hunting opportunities. Some of these VPA opportunities are listed below, but some may not be included due to deadlines. For an up-to-date list of properties, please visit GoHuntGeorgia.com. State laws and regulations and WMA Rules (Public Hunting Opportunities) apply. Hunting opportunities are limited to those species and dates specified for each VPA property.
