Welcome to the 2026-2027 Georgia Hunting and Fishing Regulations and Seasons.

Regulations, information and dates contained in this guide are effective for the period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

Hunting regulations are set by the Board of Natural Resources, acting on the recommendations of Wildlife Resources Division’s professional wildlife biologists and other field personnel. Laws are set by the elected members of the General Assembly. This guide is designed to help you understand the laws and regulations for hunting in Georgia. For complete rules and exact wording, refer to the Game and Fish Code (Title 27) and the current copy of the Department of Natural Resources, regulations (Chapter 391) on file with the Secretary of State.
