AREA 1

October 19, 2024 – January 31, 2025

Scaup Season: November 7, 2024 – January 31, 2025

Area 1 includes all parts of the state NOT included in Area 2. (see blue area on map)

AREA 2

October 5, 2024 – January 17, 2025

Scaup Season: October 5, 2024 – December 29, 2025

Area 2 includes all lands and waters within the Fort Hall Indian Reservation, including private in-holdings, and the following counties: Bannock, Bear Lake, Bingham, Bonneville, Butte, Caribou, Clark, Fremont, Jefferson, Madison, the portion of Power County east of State Highway 37 and State Highway 39, Teton, and Valley (see orange area on map)

AREA 3

October 5, 2024 – January 17, 2025

Scaup Season: October 24, 2024 – January 13, 2025

Area 3 includes the following counties: Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai and Shoshone (see green area on map).

Duck Bag Limit (Including mergansers)

7 of any kind, except shall not include more than the following:

2 female mallard

2 redhead

1 pintail

2 canvasback

2 scaup

Wilson’s Snipe and Coot Bag Limits

Wilson’s Snipe: 8

Coots: 25
