Washington Slam
The Washington Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) in cooperation with the Department of Fish and Wildlife is sponsoring brass pins in recognition of achieving the “Washington Slam.”
The Challenge:
Harvest all 3 subspecies - Eastern, Merriam’s, and Rio Grande. For the purposes of the “Washington Slam,” subspecies are defined by county of harvest. See the list of subspecies by county.
To receive your Washington Slam pin:
- Report your harvest easily by logging into the WDFW Fish and Wildlife licensing website or by calling 360-902-2464.
- Contact the Washington State Chapter of NWTF to complete and submit record forms.
