Bighorn Sheep Seasons
Additional Regulations
- A person may draw only one controlled bighorn sheep ram tag in a lifetime, excluding ewe hunts.
- A ram is defined as a male bighorn sheep
- A ewe is defined as a female bighorn sheep.
- No party applications are allowed.
- All hunters are required to arrange check out through the local ODFW office where the hunt took place within three business days (Mon. - Fri., 8-5) of completion of their hunt.
- Orientation class is required for ewe hunts.
Hunt Area
Entire Wildlife Management Unit unless indicated with an asterisk(*). See Bighorn Sheep Hunt Descriptions for controlled hunt boundary descriptions.
Bag Limit
- One bighorn ram
- One bighorn ewe (For hunts 543D1 and 543D2 ONLY)
Tag Sale Deadline
The day before the hunt begins.
