Fishing Regulation Changes

  • Hybrid striped bass have been reclassified as a game fish. Bag and size limits have not changed.
  • New rules and a permitting system have been developed for recirculating aquaculture systems. Contact Fisheries Division for more information (405) 521-3721
  • Management of the Echota and Stunkard areas of the Upper Illinois River has changed (see Public Fishing Waters).

June 6-7, 2026

Anyone may fish in Oklahoma on these days without a state license.
