No waterfowl hunters permitted on the area or access areas before 4:00 a.m. opening day, and from 5:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. the following days during the late duck season. All water traffic prohibited five days before each opening day of statewide duck season. Temporary blinds only. No decoys, boats, blinds, and blind materials may be left overnight.

Ghost River Natural Area is open same as Wolf River WMA. Hunting or access to hunt from the boardwalk structure is prohibited.
Closed to fall turkey.
Same as statewide seasons, except as noted. Centerfire rifles prohibited, except on Young Sportsman hunt. Small game closed during Young Sportsman deer hunts.
Dove - Sep. 1, at noon and the remainder of the statewide dove season.
Quail – Dec. 1-31.
Rabbit – Nov. 17–Jan. 31
Deer – Same as statewide seasons except archery equipment only after Nov. 16 and archers must meet legal blaze orange requirements during statewide muzzleloader and gun seasons. Tree stands must be marked with hunter’s TWRA ID number. Closed to Jan. Young Sportsman hunt.
Turkey – Young Sportsman – Same as statewide, Young Sportsman hunt. One turkey.
Turkey – Two hunts. Apr. 5–7 (25 hunter quota), Apr. 19–21 (30 hunter quota). One turkey (bonus bird). Hunting ends at noon each day and successful hunters must check birds at Wolf River check station by 1:00 p.m.
Dog training – Sep. 1–Mar. 15 except closed during the deer gun seasons.
Waterfowl - Waterfowl hunting closes at 3:00 p.m. (CST) each day during the late duck season(s), except the last day of each segment of the season(s) when hunting closes at sunset. Temporary blinds only.
Shooting range - open for rifle sight-in Oct 1-14
