National Hunting & Fishing Day

A statewide celebration hosted by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, sponsored by the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire:

  • Sporting Expo at the NH Fish and Game Department in Concord. Hunting and fishing gear and accessories, archery and air rifle ranges, pointing dog and retriever demos, duck and goose calling lessons, taxidermy exhibits and fly-tying.
  • Open House at Owl Brook Hunter Education Center in Holderness. Hands-on activities on 3-D archery course and firearms ranges. Demos on tree stand safety, trapping techniques and more. Free raffle; chance to try new firearms.
  • Other attractions statewide at sporting clubs and retailers.
