General Application Information (CR 18-08)

All applications associated with the big game tag draw processes for mule deer, including the Restricted Nonresident Guided Mule Deer Hunt, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, bighorn sheep and mountain goat must be submitted through the internet at www.ndowlicensing.com. Applications submitted by mail will not be accepted. Mailed applications received at Nevada Department of Wildlife offices will be date stamped and returned to the applicant.

Main Draw Deadline Date

The Department will only accept those applications received for the big game main draw through the internet at www.ndowlicensing.com submitted before 11 pm (Pacific Time) on the third Monday in April (April 16, 2018), except for withdrawn applications as provided for in NAC 502.4183 and for bonus point only applications as provided for in NAC 502.41895.

Main Draw Results

Initial draw results will be posted online no later than 48 hours after the completion of the draw. The results of the main draw will be provided on or before the second Friday in June (June 8, 2018). Information will not be given over the phone until the second Friday in June.

Second Draw Deadline

The Department will only accept those applications for the big game second draw received through the internet at www.ndowlicensing.com submitted before 11 pm (Pacific Time) on the fourth Monday in June (June 25, 2018), except for withdrawn applications as provided for in NAC 502.4183 and for bonus point only applications as provided for in NAC 502.41895.

Second Draw Results

Initial draw results will be posted online no later than 48 hours after the completion of the draw.

Results of the second draw will be provided on or before the third Friday in July. Information will not be given over the phone until the third Friday in July (July 20, 2018).

Remaining Tag Deadline

Following the big game second draw, any remaining tag quotas for mule deer, pronghorn antelope, elk, black bear, bighorn sheep and mountain goat will be available to eligible applicants through an online first-come, first served application process to both resident and nonresidents at www.ndowlicensing.com, with the exception of the junior mule deer and antlerless mule deer hunt tags, which will only be available to eligible resident applicants. Remaining tags will not be available for sale at Nevada Department of Wildlife offices. Applicants must be at least 12 years old at the time the application for a first-come, first-served tag is submitted for a hunt season that is already in progress.

The Department will accept online applications for remaining first-come, first-served big game tags beginning at 5 pm Pacific Time on the third Friday in July (July 20, 2018). Online applications for remaining big game tags will be accepted at www.ndowlicensing.com until 11 pm (Pacific Time) on the seventh weekday next preceding the last day of the hunt season for the tag.

Restricted Nonresident Guided Deer Hunt General Application Information

The Department will only accept those applications received for the big game main draw through the internet at www.ndowlicensing.com submitted before 11 pm (Pacific Time) on the second Friday in March (March 9, 2018), except for withdrawn applications as provided for in NAC 502.4183 and for bonus point only applications as provided for in NAC 502.41895.
