Trapping
Dec. 1–Feb. 28 for mink, otter, fox, raccoon, opossum, muskrat, skunk, bobcat, and weasel. There is no closed season for trapping beavers and coyotes. Complete trapping regulations can be obtained on the web at gohuntgeorgia.com or from any WRD office.
Falconry
Valid falconry permit required. Hunting license required.
- Quail (Daily limit: 12), grouse (Daily limit: 3), and rabbit (Daily limit: 12); Oct. 1–Mar. 15.
- Squirrel (Daily limit: 12); Aug. 15–Mar. 15. See Late-Season Migratory Bird brochure for falconry waterfowl season information.
