Seniors (60-64)! Be Counted and Save Up to $200
Georgia seniors ages 60–64 have a golden opportunity to ensure a lasting contribution to conservation and continuation of our sporting heritage by purchasing a $95 Senior Discount Lifetime License. Purchasing this license now can save you up to $200 in license costs before age 65 and confirms your status as a PAID sportsman for the rest of your life.
Did you know that once you become 65 and receive an honorary license the state can no longer count you as a PAID license holder? As a result, Georgia’s hunting and wildlife conservation programs are losing money! Georgia can only count PAID license holders for the purpose of obtaining critical Federal Sportfish and Wildlife Restoration dollars, which are derived from taxes placed on fishing gear and sporting arms and ammunition. In Georgia, this means we do not get to count at least 270,000 honorary license holders that represent an annual loss of at least $4 million in Federal Sportfish and Wildlife Restoration funds.
Secure your investment in the continuation of hunting and fishing for the next generation, ensure your fishing and sporting arms and ammunition tax dollars are returned to Georgia, and save money now by purchasing the Senior Discount Lifetime License for $95.
Applications available online at www.gohuntgeorgia.com or by visiting a Wildlife Resources Division office.
