Northern Zone Firearms Deer SeasonBuck only except during either sex days. Fulton (north of GA Hwy 92) and all of Clayton, Cobb, and DeKalb Counties are CLOSED to firearms deer hunting. In the portion of Forsyth County lying south of GA Hwy 20, archery equipment, shotguns and muzzleloading firearms only (no other firearms allowed). Antler restrictions in Hancock, Meriwether and Troup Counties: ONLY bucks with at least four points (one inch or longer) on one side of antlers are legal.
