Season closed during the Nov. shotgun, Oct. muzzleloader, and Oct. antlerless deer seasons. Hunt hours during the Oct. antlerless deer seasons are closed each day of the deer season from 1/2 hour before sunrise through 1/2 hour after sunset. Hunt hours 7:00p.m. through midnight during Dec. and Jan. firearms seasons. See Deer Hunting Section on Deer Seasons for Oct. antlerless and Dec. and Jan. firearms seasons. *From Jan.-Apr. fox hunting by chase during deer hunting season shall be permissible on private lands only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday if the owner of the private land has authorized such hunting to occur thereon.

Red fox may be hunted with a longbow, crossbow, shotgun, muzzleloading rifle, rimfire or centerfire rifle up to .25 caliber.
